A healthy lifestyle and sport ...

Some days, a full workout is not what the body or mind is asking for. A short mind-and-body reset can be enough to create a clear transition between a busy period and the rest of your day.

Start seated or standing comfortably. Spend one minute noticing your natural breathing without trying to make it deeper. Then add slow shoulder rolls, gentle neck movements and an easy cat-cow or standing spinal wave. Move within a comfortable range and avoid forcing a stretch.

Finish with two or three minutes of quiet breathing or simple mindfulness. Keep the goal modest: this is a reset, not a performance. Stop if a movement causes pain, dizziness or unusual discomfort.
Research reviewed by the U.S. National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health suggests that yoga may support general wellness, including stress management, sleep and balance, although effects vary between people and practices.
People with injuries, pregnancy or medical conditions may need individual guidance.
