Throughout 2025, Hue organised a year-long festival programme built around four seasonal chapters: spring, summer, autumn and winter. The initiative formed part of the city's National Tourism Year and presented the former imperial capital as a place where heritage could be encountered through contemporary public events.

The programme connected traditional performance, music and cultural celebrations with the city's historic setting. Instead of concentrating attention on one weekend, the seasonal format gave visitors and residents repeated opportunities to engage with Hue's cultural identity.

By the end of the year, the festival had offered a useful reminder: cultural heritage was not simply a backdrop for tourism. It could shape how people occupied streets, attended performances and shared their city. Hue's story was about continuity as much as spectacle.
